It's Even Boring to Me...

I can't seem to get my thoughts into one cohesive idea.

Imagine that.

Guess that means bullet points.

  • It was hair-cut day today, WOO HOO! I'll resist showing pictures because it was just a trim...but it feels GREAT!

  • I'm feeling a little lazy now that I just have one child at home. I think it's part of the whole "adjustment" thingy, but still...

  • Yesterday I learned how to do this cross out a word I've been admiring it for months but could never figure it out! Thank you blogging basics 101, my new hero. Be prepared for me to use it endlessly. ENDLESSLY.

  • I'm going to start cooking...meals. And making menus. It's a novel idea.

  • Oh here's a hair-cut pic...who am I kidding, I can't resist a hair cut picture

OK...this post is boring me to death...I gotta end it...after I apologize profusely. Maybe you can leave me a comment with something really interesting in it so it will balance out my boringness and my readers will at least have SOMETHING interesting to justify their time wasted here. Seriously...I'm counting on you :)

  1. Your haircut pics are always, always cute!

I'm going to have to check out that Blogging 101 because I've been wanting to learn that strike-through trick, too!

Are you a "I like to cook and make things from scratch" kind of cook or are you a "quick, easy but yummy" kind of cook? I could probably share some ideas for both...if you'd like. ; )

(Oh how sweet...your comment to me just popped up...)

  2. How often do you get your hair cut? Does it grow fast? The pics are always so cute! Do you color your hair? It is an adjustment starting school again. I thought I would be super motivated, but I find myself doing as much as I can outside the house (aka shopping). I guess I need to work on it. Good luck on the meal planning, I'm trying to get there as well. simplemom.net is a neat site on home management if you are looking for ideas. Have a great Tuesday!

  4. I love your hair. That style is really what I'd love for mine to look like, but I have this goofy hair that is coarse and frizzes something fierce at the first sign of moisture. So I'll just have to live vicariously through your haircut pics! :)

You'll have to join in on the Menu Monday thingy so we can all see what your cookin' up :)

  6. You are sooo funny and I have always admired your hair...you have great hair...

Now as one of your most favoritist readers (self proclaimed, but still...) can I politely request that you go easy with the strikeover power (which I still do not have). I once started reading a blog post where the author used the feature several times per sentence and by the end of the post I was all jittery feeling. :-)

  10. Love the hair. You have gorgeous hair, and I'm pea-green with envy (said in my very best Scarlett drawl).

I've got to get back into menu planning. I figured I'd take some of my alone time this week and plan menus for the next couple, so that I will be ready when school starts Tuesday.

  11. The strike out thing...it cannot be overused. it's like my .....love of.....dots......LOL Oh and never underestimate the hair cut pics. They inspired me the other ay to NOT grow mine out and saved me months f ponytails and bad pictures. That is a ministry.

  12. Chrysanthemama: I get it cut every 5 weeks (it does grow fast and its THICK) I don't color it yet...but the time will come. I already warned my hair stylist today that I plan on being one of those old ladies with purple hair.

    I love those ladies.

Beth: I know I said "I'm going to start..." I just don't know when :)

  13. Remember that game...I'd pick that if...well, I'd totally pick your haircut if mine wasn't so thick. It would pouf up so high in the back I'd knock people over just turning my head.

    Pouffy=eighties=not good.

  17. First of all, hair = too cute! Secondly, here's something interesting, since you asked: Tomorrow I'm posting about posting your own video for "I See What You're Saying," so come on by. I hope you can join in the fun.

  18. 1st day of school for me... that's NEWS isn't it?! :)

  19. Here's something (not so very interesting)--you and I have similar hair except for the bangs/fringe/shorter hair that is close to the forehead. NO ONE will cut me bangs! Oh, they claim they are, but I get home and there's no bangs to speak of. I need 'em. Bangs, that is, to cover up the wrinkles on the forehead (have I mentioned I'm turning the big 4 - 0?)

  23. My hair kinda looks like yours too..

First The Gilmore Girls thing, then the whole married-to-a-pastor thing. Now the hair.

I gotta say, it's just getting creepy. :-)

I'm getting my hair cut on THURSDAY. I can't wait. A new haircut makes you feel so pretty!

I had a sad revelation the other day: my normal 2 random sprigs of gray hair are MULTIPLYING and are birthing their evil span all over my head.

Hate gray hair. Must kill gray hair.

So -- How do I gear up to tell hubby that our budget will need to include a monthly hair coloring now... Suggestions? Thoughts?

    love,
your new single white female friend.

  24. oooh.

i meant to say "spawn" instead of "span"

we'll blame it on "baby brain".
