Too Old for This...

Dear big huge zit on my chin,

Please kindly go away. You must be mistaken. I am no longer a teenager. I am a 30 year old wife and mother to three...and I am tired of you.

The truth hurts sometimes...but I will not be sad to see you go...hopefully you are planning on leaving soon.

Thank you kindly,

Sarah

  2. Hate to break it to you, but I've had worse acne in my 40's than I ever had in my teens! Hormones are the pits!

  6. Hi! My name is Brianna & I got your blog address from my friend Michelle at raisinglittlewomen. I'm kinda new to blogging & I figured I would stop being shy and just leave you a comment.
I absolutely love to read your blog!! Its so funny & cute.

Oh and I tend to get those big huge zits as well, haha. But I tend to pick at mine which then leaves a big ugly scab, Ugh!

Anyways, Hope you have a wonderful day!

  7. Ohh honey. I was pregnant or nursing for 3 years, and my face was lovely. And now, the PMS hits again and here goes my face. Glad I'm not the only one to get the drop-by party crashers.

    I hope your letter worked.

  8. I know. What's the deal with that? I think my complexion was clearer in high school.

  10. Seriously. Ser-i-ous-ly. I just bought new face wash with salycilic acid or whatever that is. Because I'm totally breaking out. WHAT THE HECK?!

  11. I was pretty sure that when I read the manual on being in the thirties that there was nothing to be said about pimples and chin hair. I think it's unfair they left that part out. :)

  12. Haha!! Right there with ya sister!! Let me know if that little one-on-one talk with your blemish actually worked!! I tend to go right for the heavy artillery...... (a.k.a. creams, cleansers) but maybe I should be trying a more "gentle" approach!

Thanks for sharing, I think I love you even more now!! LOL :-)

  13. I found something that works. This may sound silly, but whenever I feel one coming on, I put an antibiotic ointment on it, like neosporin! It really works! I don't go out in public with it slathered on, just when I am around the house. And it keeps me from putting my fingers on it!

  14. Ugh, I hear you. I've got three lovelies on my chin right now, and I turn 30 in January. Maybe it is a reminder that we really are still young!?!
